The ACLU-SCV ANNUAL CHAPTER MEETING will be held at the First Unitarian Church, 160 N. Third Street in downtown San Jose on Saturday, October 3rd, from 1:30 - 4:30 pm.
CELEBRATE the 75th ANNIVERSARY of the ACLU-Northern California
MEET ACLU-NC's new Executive Director, Abdi Soltani
HEAR ABOUT the ACLU-NC's $25 million "Campaign for the Future"
CATCH UP with local civil liberties developments, issues, and successes
APPLAUD Leslie Bulbuk, BAYMEC President, who will receive the Chapter's 2009 Don Edwards Civil Liberties Award for her work on behalf of the South Bay LGBT community
RENEW ACQUAINTANCES with members of our local Santa Clara Valley ACLU

Come early and sit in on one of two pre-meeting workshops from 1:30 - 2:30 pm covering these two hot topics:
Police Practices in San Jose (led by San Jose ACLU Office Director Skyler Porras) and Immigrants Rights in Santa Clara Valley (leader to be announced shortly)
A member reception will follow the meeting from 4:30 - 5:30 pm. This event is free and open to all.
