Ralph Schoenman* will provide for the first time an eyewitness account
of his eight months in Iran and direct involvement in the revolutionary
uprising against the Shah - dating from September 1978 through the end
of May 1979.

Mya Shone and Ralph Schoenman will outline dramatically the suppressed
story of the resistance of Iranian workers and the trade union movement
to the brutal theocratic regime of the mullahs of Iran. Together they
will show how the hijacking of the Revolution unfolds within the
context of imperial designs upon Iran.

Ralph Schoenman and Mya Shone co-produce Taking Aim which is broadcast
over the Pacifica radio station WBAI-NY (archive at
http://www.takingaimradio.com) and is broadcast on the Internet on the
Progressive Radio Network. Both Ralph and Mya have been involved in
labor, human rights, and justice in the Middle East and other parts of
the world for many decades.

*Ralph Schoenman was Secretary General of the International Tribunal on
U.S. War Crimes in Indochina during the Vietnam Era. Today he is one
of nine members of a Temporary Independent Commission to Investigate
9/11 provided that the voters of New York City are able to approve a
ballot measure in the next general election. Ralph will serve with Ed
Asner (actor and activist), Dr. William Pepper (international attorney
and author), Lorie Van Auken (9/11 widow, representative of 9/11
victims families), Dr. Edgar Mitchell (Apollo 14 astronaut), Lincoln
Chafee (former U.S. Senator), Mike Gravel (former U.S. Senator), and
Thomas Gumbleton (Roman Catholic Bishop) when the Commission is created
to conduct a comprehensive, fact-driven investigation into the events
that took place on 9/11/01. The Commission will also thoroughly
examine related events before and after the attacks, including any
activities attempting to hide, cover up, impede or obstruct any
investigation into these 9/11 events, following wherever the facts may
