4 classes | Class code # 61960 | Tuesdays 9/22- 10/13 7-9pm
What diet can cure diabetes in a matter of months, eradicate cardiovascular disease, lower weight, save cash and cool the planet, all while delighting the taste buds? A low fat, whole foods vegan diet of course! Many doctors recommend eating more meat-free meals to optimize health, but few of us have much of an idea of what to cook, or how to build a nutrient rich diet. It is also becoming increasingly well known that the livestock industry puts out more emissions than the global transportation industry, and that the fastest and least invasive approach to lower emissions is to eat a vegan diet. In this class, we will explore the science behind how the vegan diet can bring about rapid cooling and cure many diseases. We'll explain how to create healthy balanced, low emission foods and bring tasty items for sampling. $5 materials fee due to the instructor at the first class, includes food sampling and DVD. Instructor: Susan Gilchrist
