At their last appearance, attorneys for the AETA4 made oral arguments on the motion to dismiss based on the unconstitutionality of the Animal Enterprise Terrorism Act. The court has not yet made a ruling.
And in recent weeks, the government has filed a motion for handwriting exemplars of the four defendants, with the goal of "further preparing for trial on the current charges as well as possibly bringing additional charges."
