Protect our California waters and wildlife and support our local fishermen! Join us September 12 and 13 in Foster City to stop a plan for ocean fish farming.

The Hubbs-SeaWorld Research Institute - a non-profit research institute associated with the for-profit SeaWorld - is currently planning to develop the first commercial ocean fish farm in federal waters, five miles off the coast of San Diego, California. Ocean fish farming is the mass production of fish in large cages in open ocean waters and often comes with a variety of social, environmental and consumer costs.

There will be opportunities for the public to make comments on the Hubbs project - come voice your concerns about the development of fish farms off California.

When: September 12th at 1:15pm and September 13 at 1:00pm
