DescriptionBring a picnic and spend the day at Drakes Beach with family and friends. This annual event encourages people to channel their imagination into forms of art made from the sands of time.
We welcome all ages at this free community event located at Drakes Beach. Three prizes are awarded in each of the following categories: Children (14 and under), Families, Adult Individuals, and Adult Groups, along with prizes for the sculpture with the most recycled plastic included.
Prizes are donated by the Point Reyes National Seashore Association. Become a member today!http://www.ptreyes.org/help/membership.shtml
Registration begins at 9:00 AM.
Judging begins at 12:00 PM.
Prizes are awarded at 3:30 PM.
This event is family based, but please remember no pets are allowed on this designated swimming beach (no lifeguard on duty).
