Hands-on Greywater Class
With drought, threats of rations and desal plants it is time we learn to recycle the water coming out of our showers, washing machines, and bathroom sinks.
Cost $60-$100 sliding scale
You must register! Space is limited.
In this hands-ons class we will take a top loading washing machine and route the rinse water into the nearby landscape. We will learn about what plantings and detergents are appropriate for greywater.
It just so happens that much of what we’ll be demonstrating is illegal under current plumbing codes. But codes are changing! We’ll show you how to be a discreet and responsible greywater outlaw.
