Based on short stories by Sherman Alexie, This film revolves around Victor, a native American youth, who has to travel from his reservation in Idaho to Arizona to pick up the ashes of a father he hadn’t seen in 20 yrs. Accompanying him is Thomas, who Victor never really liked, but who has the money to fund their trip. The movie is about relationships, forgiveness, and what it’s like to grow up Native American.
