Expect to be delighted and inspired on this tour of several fine community gardens and at least one permaculture demonstration garden. We will be looking at different techniques of gardening, composting, seed varieties, watering including use of greywater, and maybe get some tastes of the harvest.
Tour is bicycle friendly
A hat, sunscreen, and water bottles recommended.
Schedule is *tentatively* as follows...definitely call Batya at 419-6574 for updates if you plan to join partway through.
1pm - Trescony Community Garden, end of Trescony above Mission
2pm - Ken Foster's house, 127 Hebard St.
3pm - Beach Flats Community Garden, corner of Raymond and Riverside
4:30 - The Live Oak Grange, 17th Ave near Rodriguez
