This program explores a multifaceted slice of the America also captured in Avedon and Baldwin's Nothing Personal. Stars like Sammy Davis Jr. and high-wattage politicians like Robert F. Kennedy celebrate Christmas with students (Jingle Bells). The Republicans go for Goldwater at their 1964 convention in San Francisco (Campaign Manager). Timothy Leary gets married (You're Nobody Till Somebody Loves You). Jazz great Dave Lambert rehearses a new quintet, a few months before his accidental death (Lambert and Co.).
