Nominate/Run for/learn about KPFA/Pacifica New Important Fair Election.
Come to ASHKENAZ, this Wednesday, July 8, 2:00 - 4:00 pm to find out what the KPFA station board elections are all about. Election support staff will be there to help you to participate as a candidate or voter in these elections. KPFA needs you. So please exercise your right to have your ideas heard by making an effort to participate in these elections.
Nominations for KPFA’s Station Board open until July 15^th so there is still time for you to run. Not running? Your participation as a voter is just as important. Come help candidates meet their requirements to run by signing their nomination petition. Listener-members can sign as many petitions as they want. This does not mean you are voting for a particular candidate, just helping them meet the requirements to run.
If you are NOT a member of KPFA, you still have time to participate by becoming a member before July 15th.
Ashkenaz is at 1371 San Pablo at Gilman in Berkeley and is wheelchair accessible. Email election( at )kpfa.org for more information visit http://pacifica.org
