Sad - We’ve Been Had - Voter Pink Tea Party Sunday, June 28th 6:00pm at Redwood Gardens, 2951 Derby St, Berkeley.

Come to this Tea Party where you will get a chance to “Tell it to Obama”; share laughter, despair, singing, dancing, weeping, fierce ideas; develop strategies for putting Obama, our Congress and our country onto the right path.

Bring your tea cup, a (organic if possible) dish to share, a friend, or just BE THERE!

Hope soared across the country last fall and into the winter. Now it is summer and although the Obama Administration has taken many steps forward, we are severely stricken, heart-sick and enraged by our country’s continued and escalated war mongering and military occupations:

• Contrary to campaign promises, Obama has escalated, especially against the Pakistani people, the deployment of DRONES, credited with assassinating at least 94% civilians in their attacks

• Contrary to campaign promises, Obama has requested and Congress has given him a mammoth $106 BILLION War Supplemental

• Contrary to campaign promises, Obama is considering leaving 100,000 U.S. troops in Iraq indefinitely

• In line with campaign promises, Obama is increasing U.S. occupation forces in Afghanistan by over 50%

But the bottom line is what are WE going to do about it?**

** “Ground the Drones” Caravan July 2nd to Creech Air Force Base, Indian Springs Nevada; Women’s Peace Encampment July 3rd to 14th.
