Join us as author Minal Hajratwala reads from her book Leaving India: My Family's Journey from Five Villages to Five Continents. Minal weaves the story of her family's migration into the larger fabric of international economic and immigration policies and practices. The result is a unique portrait of the Indian Diaspora making connections between personal choice and the forces of history.
