U.S. Israel applaud your protest.
I'm sure you'll see a lot of people holding Israeli flags at that protest, so be my guest. Maybe there will also be some Iranians who prefer a US and Israeli governed Iran.
This is why the left is, and will continue to be irrelevant. A massive uprising in the streets is taking place against an authoritarian right-wing government, and upwards of twenty demonstrators have been killed by security forces. But the US is BAD, and is opposed to the government of Iran, so it must follow that that government is GOOD and the protesters are evil imperialist reactionaries. Grow the fuck up, commies.
I can bet you that the same fake "pro-democracy" demonstrators allied with the CIA who are supporting the opposition candidate at the demonstration in Sacramento today didn't say a word when the U.S. people endured eight years of a non-elected president seizing power through election fraud in 2000 and 2004. Where was the outrage when two elections in a row were stolen from the American people?
I have real problems with the mullahs and the current government in Iran, but nothing compares to the evil of U.S. imperialism, responsible for the killing of millions of innocent people throughout the world and overthrowing over 50 democratically elected governments throughout the world, including the 1953 coup in Iran. Obama, a stooge of the New World Order, is continuing the same pro-war policy as Bush and Cheney. The only difference is that he represents U.S. imperialism in a more polished, sophisticated way.

You've now twice accused millions of people of being CIA stooges with no proof whatsoever. No matter how many times you say it's tea-time, doesn't make it so. Does the CIA fuck around in the affairs of other countries? Yes. Does that mean that everyone upset with the current government of Iran is a CIA proxy? Only in the mind of a leftist.
"say a word when the U.S. people endured eight years of a non-elected president seizing power through election fraud in 2000 and 2004. Where was the outrage when two elections in a row were stolen from the American people?"
I don't really know if they did or not, and, to tell you the truth, I don't really care. It's not relevant to the current situation, and that you're bringing it up tells me you have no argument. Fuck off, maodroid arsewipe.

Fortunately, there is a separate event at the Capitol at the same time that will support the elections and the President (who is nicely critical of Israel and stands up to the US). The separate event is to tell the US ond others to keep their noses out of Iranian affairs. Leave Iran alone!
Frisk, please don't pretend not to know that adding your criticism of Iran in this political climate will ony be used to justify military attacks on civilians in that country by pro-US and Israeli forces. If you really wanted justice, you wouldn't be encouraging more US anger towards the Iranian gov't. I can only suspect that you're a fraud and a Zionist facilitator!
"If there's any uprising, it's funded by the US"
Back it up. Otherwise shut the fuck up.

Yeah, I'm sure the US government is really gonna take some kid's posting on Indybay into account when formulating their foreign policy.

Go take your fucking meds.

I wonder if you know what organization/s and/or prominent individuals have initiated the protest announced above? Thanks:)
Whoever organized the protest apparently had strong affection for the CIA-installed dictatorship of the Shah of Iran. There were three big flags of the Shah's Dictatorship flying over the demonstrators at the Capitol yesterday.
One woman, in a passionate outburst in Farsi, strongly condemned the display of the hated dictatorship's flag by the organizers. I support democracy in Iran, but I oppose both the the current control by reactionary mullahs and the return to control by the Shah's fascist supporters.
The problem is that the situation is very complex. There are certainly legitimate demonstrators who want more democracy - and there are those who are allied with Israel and the CIA and want to return Iran to a brutal U.S. controlled dictatorship. The display of the dictatorship's flag is an ominous sign - and must be condemned by all freedom loving people!
