Event: As the world prepares for the UN climate conference in Copenhagen this December, what are the key areas of policy that are in most need of reform? If the United States, China and India are not committed to a new agreement, how will culture and the dynamics of environmental, economic and population change impact the pace of climate change? And, what best practices can the US learn from places like Germany and Denmark? Writer and radio personality Thom Hartmann joins the Council to examine climate change’s impact on our planet, the mistakes that have been made—as a culture, as a country, and as individuals—and offers what can be done to build a better, more sustainable world.
