Fresno Police Break Homeless Man’s Wrist

by Mike Rhodes (editor [at] fresnoalliance.com)
In what appears to be another case of excessive force by the Fresno Police Department, Randy Johnson had his wrist broken by an officer who responded to a disturbing the peace call. Johnson was calling his wife’s name in an attempt to give her a cell phone. You can hear, in Randy and his wife’s own words, what happened in the video below.

Indybay is an all-volunteer site, so if you have an idea for interviewing Fresno police officers about police brutality you'll have to get out there and shoot the video and upload it yourself. It's a good idea though because every interview is a chance for the police officers to confuse their stories and could later be played in court to expose their lies.

I recall Pam Kincaid and Al whatshisname both getting arrested on nonsense, held for something like three days and released without charges filed SIMULTANEOUSLY if Im not mistaken. The circumstances of Pam's arrest absolutely scandalous, upon her release being informed by a female sheriff that there should be an investigation into the events.

My point being... Wasnt Randy a named plaintiff, and could this possibly be another retaliatory
action towards a known litigant? I think that pattern could continue. Theres a lot of grudge holding that definitely manifests itself directly with the Sheriff's Department and presumably the Fresno Police Department. Or whoever directs their actions.

I understand what happened from all three stories but randy's story and the witnesses story did not match up well randy said the police officer hurt his arm while attempting to detain hime the witness says it was after he was detained and when they took him out of the car again thats when his arm started to hurt . . . Thats just my view there will be many many more .
