Osha Neumann and the Notes for Next Time

Osha Neumann local activist, artist, and now author will be at hand to talk about his book UP AGAINST THE WALL MOTHERFUCKER! and topics related to it. Namely how the 1960's had a movement but no crisis of capitalism, and now we have a crisis of capitalism but no movement. Osha will of course talk about the Motherfuckers—a group who utilized provocative confrotational tactics that some have deemed Anarchistic. Osha promises to look at the group's strengths and weaknesses, as well as look at what is relevant today. He will also bring the discussion around to art and it's relation to politics. The event is a discussion not a dry lecture. People who attend are encourages to be participants. Plus the usual Cafe Nite food (veagan/vegetarian) will be at hand to fuel you all.
