Commemorate the 40th anniversary of Stonewall by coming to this discussion about the history and future of the struggle for LGBT liberation with two leading LGBT activists and authors.
Speakers:
Sherry Wolf is author of Sexuality and Socialism: History, Politics and Theory of LGBT Liberation, and a frequent contributor to the International Socialist Review.
Tommi Avicolli Mecca is a longtime LGBT activist and author of Smash the Church Smash the State. He is also a frequent contributor to the SF Bay Guardian.
Rose Aguilar, host of KALW's Your Call, and author of Red Highways: A Liberal's Journey into the Heartland, will moderate the discussion.
$5 - $10 donation requested; nobody turned away for lack of funds.
