The AETA4 are four young victims of the FBI's Green Scare. They are facing terrorism charges and a maximum of ten years in prison for allegedly attending demonstrations, leafleting, and chalking sidewalks.
We are unsure what will be discussed on this date, or how long or short the appearance may be. If you attend court in solidarity, we request that you dress conservatively.

Friday July 10
9:00AM
Department 104
661 Washington ST.
Oakland, CA
This date applies to Joseph only.
This is a pre-trial hearing on a trespassing charge. In July '08 there was an alleged trespass at the home of a UC Berkeley vivisector. Joseph is being blamed for this. The DA's office has clearly been in touch with the FBI and are insistent on taking this weak case (based on blurry surveillance photographs taken at night) to trial.
Monday July 13
9:00AM
Courtroom 6, 4th Floor
280 S. 1st ST.
San Jose, CA
AETA4 Court appearance.
In recent weeks, the Defense filed their motion to dismiss, arguing that the AETA is unconstitutional. The government has filed their response to this motion.
This date will focus on the motion to dismiss. There will be a press conference outside, and we need as many of you out there as possible.
If you attend court in solidarity, please dress conservatively.
Monday July 13
11:00AM
Courtroom #4, Fifth Floor
280 S. 1st ST.
San Jose, CA
Joseph has a bail review hearing directly after the July 13 appearance. Currently, Joseph is the only AETA4 defendant on house arrest. The U.S. prosecutor has branded him a flight risk and danger to the community. We request that everyone stick around and support him at this hearing before Magistrate Judge Seeborg.
