The first annual San Ramon Eco-Festival is a free two-day event aiming to provide good green fun for everyone. Attendees will learn how to live a simple and cost-effective green lifestyle and become more environmentally-conscious in a fun and inspiring atmosphere. The Eco-Festival will be held at the Bishop Ranch Civic Center located at 6200 Bollinger Canyon Road in San Ramon, California on August 29-30, 2009 from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Saturday, August 29 and 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Sunday, August 30.

The Eco-Festival will provide no shortage of entertainment as the main stage and several themed ‘zones’ offer opportunities to experience various aspects of green living. Attendees can listen to lively chatter from several HGTV stars, including Emmy-award-nominated actor and environmentalist Ed Begley Jr. and his wife Rachelle Carson-Begley of “Living with Ed.” The event will also feature live music, green industry experts, Kid Zone, food court, fashion show, Vendor Village, Auto Zone, and Career Zone, all educating attendees on eco-friendly living.
