9th Annual Malcolm X Jazz Arts Festival, Oakland, 5/30/09: photos

On Saturday, May 30th, the Eastside Arts Alliance sponsored the 9th Annual Malcolm X Jazz Arts Festival in San Antonio Park on Foothill Blvd in East Oakland. There were three stages with jazz, hip hop, and other musical artists. Also featured was a graffiti battle, a skateboarding contest, dancing, poets, and a community platform for grassroots organizations. Numerous local artists and food vendors offered their crafts and flavors.
