Gabriel Meyers will be making his 3rd court apperance from his arrest at the BART Board of Directors meeting on April 9th, 2009 in which he splattered paint in protest of BART's mishandling of the shooting death of Oscar Grant by former BART police officer Johannes Mesherle. Gabe is being charged with three counts of battery, vandalism and distrupting a public meeting.

Please come out early to show your support for Gabe and for those who have sacrificed their freedom and liberty to demand justice. Gabe appreciates all the solidarity and support that comes his way.

§The time is wrong

The time is wrong on the posting. The actual time that I have to be at court is 9AM. Also, I probably won't get called for awhile, and that can even take up to two to three hours, like it did last time. So a better estimated time that shold be read on this posting is probably 9AM to 12PM. 2 to 3 hours to have to wait is a long time(I know, bring a book), but even if you just show up to support me and have to leave before I am called, that would be appreciated.

Thanks Aron, I do not think there was to much confusion. Thanks Indybay too for changing the time, but do you think that you can make sure that my court date makes the front page calendar events. I noticed it was only up in the police state section. Does someone from editorial staff think that they can put it up asap? I would appreciate that, thanks. I will also send an e-mail to sfbay-web [at] lists.indymedia.org.
