Brand marketing meets the court room. The cop remembered going to Starbucks beforehand.... what the hell kind of crap is this? They went to Starbucks therefore he must not be a killer?
The cops talk about Cussing... as if the presence of cussing is an excuse for their actions.

thank you for publishing this for those of us who are unable to show up to the trail. it is very interesting.
this court shit is insane. We need to do everything we can to make sure all the pigs on the platform that night experience the consequences of their actions, and send a message to the po-po in general that they can't get away with that shit anymore. we can't allow the legal system to set the timetable for justice, or else they just gonna drag this trial out for years. I keep hearing from people how they gonna wait till mehserle's aquitted till they hit the streets, but by then it'll be way too late. we need to step up the autonomous tactics and make ourselves a major problem for them that won't go away. we need to build momentum all over the state so that when they do finally announce their rubber stamp verdict, we got the crews, the praxis, and the plans to make some shit go down like Greece.
keep BART in mind when you make plans
I agree, it's a shame that the massive street mobilizations against police brutality have died down in the bay since January. What happened? I mean everything was going well, and the most empowering of it all had to be on the 6th, such diverse groups of people striking back against one common enemy that has attacked them for so long. There was so much potential for something great entangled in this predicament, but organizations that essentially played the role of the state destroyed that when they enforced their reformist approach on us. It's as if they had us trapped in a bubble, strictly sticking to tactics that were carefully planned out by them so we wouldn't 'offend' anyone. It was to the point where THEY would decide when the march ended, even if we wanted to continue (so nice of them to do the police's job). I was also disappointed by the lack of direct action, especially with the amount of Anarchists located in the bay area and any calls that were made went about the situation extremely wrong. Example, black bloc is somewhat played out because everyone KNOWS to look for people in black and what they're going to be doing and TO make a call for this type of action online is unintelligent because it will leave you know who with more time to plan their strategy against us. Doesn't that defeat the purpose of our greatest strategy? The element of surprise. People took the time to carry out hit and run missions leaving broken windows, but why didn't they get together with their friends and plan the occupation of a building? The BART shutdowns weren't my flavor of action, I believe that we needed to continue marching in the streets and not necessarily focusing on BART alone but this entire justice system that's structured to serve those in power.
So are we going to do anything to continue where we left off on that night in January? Is it too late, has everyone outside of the regular indymedia community already forgot about this shooting? If there is ANY chance of revival NOW is the time, no holding back. If other organizations are going to continue to make the same mistakes, holding us back from carrying out actions that ACTUALLY have an impact, I suggest Anarchists and other folks who favor direct action be those who step it up and take it to the streets where we all can gather without being pushed around (well at LEAST not from within the movement), where we have free will. Diversity of strategy brings strength, we wont force our means of change on you, but we sure as hell don't believe any of us should have to change to cooperate.
