Kick-off location at Front St. & Whitson St. (between Highland & Floral) on N. Golden State HWY in Selma (behind Rite-Aid).

A march, in response to the California Supreme Court’s decision on Proposition 8, will take place from Selma to Fresno, starting at 8 a.m. will begin in Selma and will continue along a 14-mile route to Fresno’s City Hall. This event is sponsored by Meet in the Middle.

Leaders from the Civil Rights Movement, the United Farm Workers Movement and the Gay Rights Movement will March from Selma, CA to Fresno, CA in a symbolic sign of respect to the social movements before us.

8 a.m. Kick-off location at Front St. & Whitson St. (between Highland & Floral) on N. Golden State HWY in Selma (behind Rite-Aid).

Around 12:00 p.m. march participants arrive at Railroad Avenue and Van Ness Avenue in Fresno where same-sex couples married in Fresno County, and those wanting to join the March for the final 2.5 miles to Fresno's City Hall, will meet at this location.
