Dance THeatre INternational Workshop/AUdition

DANCE THEATRE INTERNATIONAL BALLET INTENSIVE / AUDITION IN SAN JOSE , CA
Dance Theatre International is looking for advanced students to apply for a 4 week Summer Ballet Intensive. DTI is also looking for dancers for the upcoming performance season. The season's repertory is learned during the Ballet Intensive. The intensive is available for a small select group of students and professionals to work closely with world-renown instructors and experience a breadth of both classical and contemporary choreography.

The summer intensive will focus on choreography by Jiri Kylian and Gregory Dawson.

Faculty includes Xavier Ferla, a former principal dancer from Bejart Ballet Lausanne, Deutsche Oper Berlin, the Royal New Zealand Ballet, and Lines Ballet; Maggie Ferla formerly with the San Francisco Ballet, Bejart Ballet, and the Hamburg Ballet; Elke Schepers, former principal dancer and current Ballet Mistress from Jiri Kylian’s Nederlands Dans Theatre; Gregory Dawson from Lines Ballet; Pascal Molat, principal dancer with the San Francisco Ballet and formerly with the Paris Opera Ballet.


Schedule: July 6 - July 31 (Monday - Saturday) 40 - 50 hours per week
Cost: $1,400 / Scholarships are available.
