This month is a benefit for our DJ, Durt. Djs in the queer scene are not few and far between but their jobs are! Durt has just gone through some major surgery and needs help paying for medical bills. Lets help Durt keep on her feet, shall we?

ABOUT SHIPS: The dance party happens once a month, every third thursday, and functions both as a benefit and a community organizer. Each party raises money for a different organization, campaign, movement or indvidual(s) that we know to be in need.

§change of venue for ships in the night: moved temporarily to the lexington!

hi friends,
due to circumstances beyond our control, ships in the night will be moved from the gangway this thursday to the lexington on 19th St. (between Valencia and Mission). we will be dancing to the sounds of dj's jean jamz and black, as well as doing some fundraising to help out dj durt after her back surgery. please join all yr favorite homos 10pm, 21+, and thanks to the lexington for opening its doors to us.
the gangway is dealing with neighbors' sound complaints and has had to cancel all of its dance parties for a little while. ships in the night will continue on and is searching for a new home.
