CodePINK et al will be conducting an Emergency Response "Phone-a-thon" in front of Diane Feinstein's office on Market @ Montgomery Tuesday, May 19th Noon.
Anyone care that the House of Representatives passed a $96 BILLION dollar War Supplemental on Thursday? Additional funding (on top of what is already allocated) to escalate mostly the war against Afghanistan.
We have the opportunity to STOP this Supplemental! The Senate will consider passing this Supplemental early this week. They HAVE to hear from us!
PLEASE join us! We are attempting to get as many folks as possible to place calls right then to our/their Senators.
We provide a phone booth, peace phone book, and suggested talking points for the TEN SECOND call!
It takes TEN SECONDS to call your legislator to tell them to VOTE NO on the Supplemental.
Bring your cell phones (if you can spare the minutes). Wear HOT PINK! Or just BE THERE!
