The Great Credit Freeze and the U.S. Economy

Christina Romer, Chair, President's Council of Economic Advisers

President Obama's economic recovery package is moving through Congress. Its supporters hope that it will provide a much-needed boost to the U.S. economy. Romer will discuss the administration's integrated recovery strategy with particular focus on the importance of a healthy credit market in promoting our economic recovery and future economic growth. She says this package is important for stimulating job creation and investing in our country's infrastructure, but comprehensive economic recovery also includes the financial stability plan announced by U.S. Treasury Secretary Tim Geithner, designed to open up the flow of credit that families and businesses depend on in the course of their everyday lives.

... while the multitudinous victims of those policies would hardly want to spend the little we have left to hear Romer's bankster lies in person!

But if one had a pie, and the nerve and ability to send it to its target, it might be worth the $18, or even the $65 for a close-up seat!
