While schools across the state of California hold their breath as they wait to find out what politicians will do with their funding next year, the students of the Gunn High School Robotics Team have taken the offensive. They are hiring the comedy troupe Capitol Steps to lampoon the politicians. And Silicon Valley spectators will love the robotics display during intermission.

A staple on public radio, the Capitol Steps is the only group in America that attempts to be funnier than the Congress.
This troupe of former Congressional staffers is sure to upset those right, left and center. Putting the "mock" in democracy, the Steps leave no issue untouched with their own special brand of satirical humor and scathing parody.

[The Capitol Steps began as a group of Senate staffers who set out to satirize the very people and places that employed them.

In the years that followed, many of the Steps ignored the conventional wisdom ("Don't quit your day job!"), and although not all of the current members of the Steps are former Capitol Hill staffers, taken together the performers have worked in a total of eighteen Congressional offices and represent 62 years of collective House and Senate staff experience.

Since they began, the Capitol Steps have recorded 29 albums, including their latest, Obama Mia . ]
