World Centric continues a film series on the economic times. Our World, Our Planet: the Financial Crisis will showcase I.O.U.S.A. at 7:30pm on May 1st.
Donations requested to cover cost of films and speakers.
Films to be followed by discussion, speakers and socializing.
Seating capacity is about 70 people.
Please feel free to bring food/drinks to share and a cushion as there are a few metal chairs.
I.O.U.S.A. the movie boldly examines the rapidly growing national debt and its consequences for the United States and its citizens. With surgical precision, Creadon interweaves archival footage and economic data to paint a vivid and alarming profile of America's current economic situation. The ultimate power of I.O.U.S.A. is that the film moves beyond doomsday rhetoric to proffer potential financial scenarios and propose solutions about how we can recreate a fiscally sound nation for future generations. (85 mins, 2009)

Citizens Of Developing Nations Solving The International Financial Crisis-And Promoting The Use And Development Of Mobile Phones And The Internet
This group is for those who seek to become involved with a simple, yet effective, New Financial System that can compete against the current, problematic financial system of Wall Street, Banking, Multinational Corporations, etc.
Citizens of impoverish and developing nations will use low-cost/no-cost methods, such as the internet and cell phones, to recruit citizens of wealthy, developed nations to convince them to make donations to nonprofit organizations that sponsor financial, business, and economic development programs.
Also, the governments of developed nations will be lobbied to funnel billions of dollars through this process for competitive and stimulus purposes, and to eventually provide microsalaries to the recruiters residing in developing nations.
http://www.biggestcrime.com, the website that coordinate the entire process, and the recruiters from undeveloped nations, will earn a commission on each donation. Marketing strategies, including the interactive strategies on http://www.biggestcrime.com, will be utilized to generate interest from perspective donors.
