Omid MemarianAs part of the 2009 film series, the Rotary Peace Fellows at Berkeley & International House, will present the documentary "A Nuclear Democracy." Following the screening, Omid Memarian, journalist and blogger known for his news analysis, regular columns and blog, will join a discussion on the topic of "Why the US Should Change its Policy Towards Iran." A visiting scholar at the School of Journalism in 2005-2006, he received Human Rights Watch's highest honor in 2005, the Human Rights Defender Award.
