Documenting a disability, identifying barriers and close attention to the application process are crucial in winning an initial Social Security Claim. This presentation will cover the five (5) step sequential evaluation process in filing a Social Security application including the SSA Blue Book’s Listing Levels of Impairment and Automatic Qualifiers. We will also discuss Quick Disability Determinations (QDD) and Social Security’s Compassionate Allowances (CAL) and SS’s update online application process.
