The Diabetes Teaching Center at the University of California, San Francisco is holding their annual, “Diabetes Patient Symposium”
Adults with diabetes and their family members are invited to hear the latest news involving diabetes research and clinical care from respected UCSF-affiliated researchers and clinicians. Topics include: “Why We Remain Hopeful About Stem Cells”, “From Discouraged to Encouraged: Yes You Can Manage Your Diabetes”, Continuous Glucose Monitoring”, “Islet and Pancreas Transplantation”, and “Counting Carbohydrates vs. Glycemic Index/Load”.
