This is a press release from Barbara Lee's office. Says nothing of the root causes and it does not condemn the actions of Israel, a very politically crafted piece. Text follows below.

Washington, DC – Today, Congresswoman Barbara Lee released this statement on Tristan Anderson, a constituent of the 9th Congressional District of California who was critically injured after being stuck by a tear gas canister by the Israeli authorities in the Village of Ni’lin:

“My thoughts and prayers remain with Tristan Anderson and his family as he continues to recover from the tragic injuries. The day after this horrible incident, I conveyed my concern to the State Department and have asked for a complete report and ongoing updates about the incident. I remain very concerned about Tristan’s case and will continue to press for answers about this tragic incident.”

What a non statement from our "liberal miss Lee", Bullshit. First, no comment on Bail out and then nothing on desecrating an Ohlone Burial ground.
