One of the best ways to put pressure on is to have the supervisors start an investigation into the Police Riot
by Todd Davies
I'm away from the bay area but I sent the following to David Campos and Ross Mirkirimi this afternoon.

David and Ross,

I live in the mission (ADDRESS DELETED, David's district), and am registered Green. I was at the protest for Tristan Anderson at the Israeli Consulate on Monday, and know
Tristan. I was not there for the arrests and police attack on protestors that happened later, but I have seen video from it and heard testimonials that convince me
this needs to be investigated. See http://www.indybay.org/newsitems/2009/03/17/18578412.php. These attacks on peaceful protestors, often with no warning or dispersal
order, followed by bogus arrests, need to stop, as does the brutal police behavior (cops swinging clubs overhead, punching people, etc.). Only an investigation by the
board will address the systemic character of this.

Todd Davies

(NOTE: of course that last sentence refers to government action - I didn't mean to say we can't address in other ways.)
