This event will be held at San Francisco State University. It will be held in the Cesar Chavez Student Center, starting with Malcolm X plaza then moving to the Richard Oakes Multicultural Center on the terrace level (top floor) and ending in Jack Adams Hall.

This Wednesday, March 18th, we will be celebrating the 15th Annual Cesar Chavez Celebration here at San Francisco State University. We have a very special program this year and I invite you all to come and
to share this information with others you think would be interested.

Here is the program for the day:
12 to 2 PM, Malcolm X Plaza
DJ Boga will be spinning some tunes so please come dance
Tres Leche Cakes will be served in honor of the birthday of Cesar Chavez

Speakers from student organizations on campus

4 to 5:30 PM, Richard Oakes Multicultural Center
Organizing and the United Farm Workers Movement (featuring organizers from the UFW that will share their experiences)
-Mario Bustamante, UFW field worker and farm worker organizer
-Fred Ross , Jr. SEIU union organizer and UFW organizer

5:30 to 6:45 PM, Richard Oakes Multicultural Center
Community Forum: The Struggle for Immigrant's Rights and Raza Empowerment: Building on the Seeds of Activism (an opportunity to engage in the current struggle for human rights and social justice by dialoguing with local community based organizations and activists)
