Discussion of Chapters 1 and 2 of the Communist Manifesto:
You can download it from the Marxist Internet Archive at: http://www.marxists.org/archive/marx/works/1848/communist-manifesto/. We decided to focus on the first two chapters (Chapter 1: Bourgeois and Proletarians; Chapter 2: Proletarians and Communists) because the material in Chapter 3 (Socialist and Communist Literature) and Chapter 4 (Position of the Communists in Relation to the Various Existing Opposition Parties) have more relevance for Marx's day than for our own.
NOTE:You can download the Manifesto as a PDF: http://www.marxists.org/archive/marx/works/download/manifest.pdf. You should specify to print only pages 1-21, if you don't want to print out the final two chapters. If you use the Marxist Internet Archive version, we recommend using the PDF, so we will have equivalent pages. Otherwise, every version prints differently depending on how you set up your margins, default typeface, etc.
You do not need to use the internet versions of these works if you already have a copy.
