Hear an analysis and presentation by Richard Brown, one of the San Francisco 8 defendants. The presentation will be followed by a Q & A.

The program will conclude with a showing of the film, Legacy of Torture, which depicts the use of torture against the SF 8 when they were originally arrested in the early 1970's. (The charges were thrown out at that time because all the "evidence" was extracted by torture. The charges were reinstated a few years ago at the instigation of the Ashcroft Justice Department)

Strawberry Creek Lodge is senior housing, so of course it's fully accessible. (The omission of this fact from the original post was my mistake, not Elazar Friedman's. :-[)
