New Volunteer Orientation, Double Digging Demonstration and Workday at Pacifica Gardens,

Come on down to Pacifica Gardens and get involved. Saturday, March 7th is our New Volunteer Orientation Day, 10 a.m.-2.pm. Learn the mission, values, goals and elements of Pacifica Gardens and take a tour. Afterwards, see a double-digging and bed preparation demonstration.


Pacifica Gardens, a project of Pacifica's Environmental Family, currently has 25 vegetable beds, 4 native plant/herb beds, 2 flower beds and 20 fruit trees--and we are expanding. In addition, our talented and resourceful volunteers reassembled a donated greenhouse and built 8 composters from reclaimed lumber last season. Join us as we being our second growing season in our expanding project! Everyone is welcome.
