Attempt to Recall John Moghtader Linked to November Attack on Anti-Apartheid Activists

by Zionism is racism!
On Monday, February the 23, students at UC Berkeley voted whether to recall John Moghtader, a senator at the student government. Moghtader, along with members of the student groups Tikva and Zionist Freedom Alliance, are accused of assaulting three Palestinian students for displaying Palestinian flags during a campus event last November.
Trying to prevent the recall, Moghtader and members of Tikva/Zionist Freedom Alliance argued that the recall will cost too much money and that the evidence against Moghtader is weak. But an investigation by the UC Berkeley Police based on many testimonies recommended charging Moghtader with battery with enhancement of a hate crime.

Moghtader originally claimed that he did not enter the building,
however later he recanted the statement when he was being questioned
by the ASUC. Caught lying, Moghtader now claims that he was not
involved in the fight and entered the building in order to break apart
a fight on the balcony. However, according to the UCPD police report,
statements made by the victims, witnesses and assailants all confirm
that Moghtader did attack the Palestinian students, and yelled racial
slurs such as, "i am going to kick your Arab ass."

Tikva, the group promoting the racist and superstitious ideology of the Zionist Freedom Alliance, has been banned from many student groups and Jewish Organization for its extreme philosophy. The group, rightly describing themselves as true representatives of Zionism, has a long history of intimidating not only human right activists but also liberal Jewish voices on campus who dare to question some of the policies practice by Israel.
