California's state Supreme Court hears oral arguments
on March 5,
about Prop 8 (banning same-sex marriage),
which voters narrowly approved in November 2008.


On March 5, expect a
three-hour hearing on Proposition 8,
from 9 AM to 12 noon,
in San Francisco
[ near City Hall and main library];
which should be televised statewide on
the California Channel.

Frequently,
picketers
[ pro-freedom and anti-freedom]
appear near the building,
on the north edge of Civic Center plaza.
If you're there,
please politely IGNORE the
anti-freedom persons
(the fascists).

equal human rights,
etc.
