Omali Yeshitela, Chairman of the African People's Socialist Party and founder of the Uhuru Movement will be in Oakland organizing the movement for reparations, justice and economic development, not police containment for the African community.
Following the open session from 2 to 4pm, Chairman Omali will convene an African community organizing meeting, "One Africa! One Nation!" to build the West Coast contingent traveling to African Liberation Day events in Washington D.C. on May 22nd to 24th 2009 as part of the global effort to unify the African working class worldwide.
