The recent fighting between Israelis and Palestinians has brought the issue back onto the international community's agenda and to the top of President Obama's foreign policy to-do list. The Young Professionals International Forum invites you to join them in welcoming Norwegian Consul General Sten Arne Rosnes for a discussion on the Middle East peace process. What led to the collapse of the historic Oslo Accords and what can be done to revive the peace process? Is a two-state solution possible? Consul General Rosnes, Norway's former Representative to the Palestinian Authority, will share his thoughts on the peace process and in light of his country's historic commitment to resolving this dispute will discuss what Norway sees as its role in the process.

The program will be followed by a reception featuring Scandinavian cuisine.
