Dr. Paul Larudee and Norman Solomon
What happened and why? What roles have the U.S. and the media played? What can we hope for in an Obama administration?
What can WE do?
Norman Solomon is a West Marin resident, author, journalist, and nationally syndicated columnist on media and politics. He writes and speaks on the mainstream media and how it covers important current events.
Dr. Paul Larudee is a human rights advocate and co-founder of the Free Gaza Movement. With Iranian and American Presbyterian missionary parents, he grew up in the American Midwest. He has a Ph.D. in linguistics from Georgetown University and spent 14 years in Arab countries as a U.S. government advisor, Fulbright-Hays exchange lecturer, teacher, training administrator and graduate student. He last traveled to Gaza in August 2008 on the first boat to break the 41-year siege.
