JASEconomy (Just Alternative Sustainable Economy, pronounced jazz economy)
This is a group of folks who are engaged with the Bay Area grassroots economy and working to facilitate ongoing discussions, to explore projects, to develop links across sectors with the aim to strengthen and build an alternative economy that better reflects our values and serves our needs (worker cooperatives, gift economy projects, sustainable local enterprise, fair trade, alternative currencies, bartering, local food projects, and so on).
