and the just HAD to call him a n0000r before they killed him,not to mention dangerous PUNCHES to the face before the always ,in the case of police, ''accidental'' execution.
HOW MUCH LONGER ARE YOU GOING TO STAND BACK AND TAKE THIS SHIT FROM THE SYSTEM? IF THERE WAS EVER A TIME TO FIGHT BACK THAT TIME TO FIGHT BACK IS NOW! THERE'S GONNA BE HELL TO PAY. FUCK YOU POLICE. FUCK YOUR COURT SYSTEM. FUCK YOUR GOVERNMENT. WE DON'T NEED THIS SHIT ANYMORE. NO JUSTICE NO PEACE NO RACIST POLICE. FIRST IT WAS "WE SHALL OVER COME" AND THAT DIDN'T WORK. NOW IT'S TIME TO "FIGHT THE POWER". NO JUSTICE NO PEACE NO RACIST POLICE. WHO'S STREETS OUR STREETS. FUCK THE POLICE! TIME TO GET EVERYBODY OUT OF THERE HOMES AND INTO THE STREETS. WHO'S STREETS OUR STREETS. THE SHIT GONNA GO DOWN. WE'VE BEEN WAITING TOO LONG TO COUNT ON THE SYSTEM TO CORRECT IT SELF. WE CONNOT RELY ON THE SYSTEM ANYMORE. THE SYSTEM HAS FAILED US AND EVERYONE KNOW'S EXACTLY WHY. RACISM IN AMERICA IS ALIVE AND WELL! EVERYBODY COME OUT. EVERYBODY COME OUT NOW. STAND UP AND FIGHT BACK. FIGHT THE SYSTEM! FIGHT THE POWER!
Thanks for posting this bail motion for the whole world, especially the Bay Area, to see. We know exactly what is going to happen now.
1. The trial will be moved to a reactionary county due to pre-trial publicity in the Bay Area, making it impossible to find an impartial jury.
2. The reactionary jury will hear about Oscar Grant's legal problems, which will certainly make them more sympathetic to the cop.
3. The reactionary jury will hear about the chaos as described in the bail motion that the cops claim occurred on the BART train, making them more sympathetic to the cop.
4. All the rest of the sob story favoring the cop in this bail motion combined with Nos. 2 and 3 will guarantee a not guilty verdict.
SO, NOW, WHAT IS TO BE DONE?
WE NEED SERIOUS LABOR ORGANIZING IN THIS COUNTRY TO MAKE POSSIBLE A NATIONAL GENERAL STRIKE TO PUT AN END TO CAPITALISM. The entire crisis with the police, all of which departments should be eliminated as they serve no worthwhile purpose whatsoever, is because labor is weak. The police cannot possibly fight crime if they want to as they are rarely around when serious crime occurs, and usually do the wrong thing if they are present. BART police should not have any guns or tasers. Tasers and pepper spray should be abolished worldwide. We are going around and around with these cases because no serious labor organizing goes on. Case on point: The State of California is about to cut back workers' hours and wages and the unions respond by running to court instead of just walking out the day anyone is furloughed. One day of no state employees will force the Democratically-controlled Legislature to raise the progressive income tax on the rich, those who make over $200,000 a year, so as to pay for all state programs. This is how all social welfare programs were won in the first place, by a strong labor movement. You cannot elect millionaires like Barack Obama and expect anything to get done. No millionaire can represent us; we must have a strong labor movement.

For the poster above me:
I'm not saying anything one way or another when I ask this question. So please just answer and don't attack me with BS about how i'm probably a cop or whatever. You want us to do away with the police entirely. Ok, fine.
What's your solution? I mean, it's easy to sit here and say we need to destroy this or disband that, but I have yet to hear someone that says those very thing come up with a viable solution for when shit does hit the fan and their ideas fail.

To the poster above, I'm glad you asked that question. I'm glad you asked because the poster you were responding to, while well meaning, is exhibiting symptoms of political psychosis. What he requests will never happen any time soon but that doesn't invalidate his underlying claim that police do more harm than good.
If it is assumed that his statements are true then it renders your question moot, that is to say that if our current police institutions do more harm than good then dismantling them would require no alternative as we would be better off by the premise of the claim.
If his claim is to be challenged, then challenge it. Don't place a burden upon him that isn't called for in the original premise or claim.
But, to indulge you, I will go that extra step. I will assert that our current police institutions cause more harm than good and I will assert that our society would suffer in the absence of any policing agents. That should satisfy you because I do not claim we have no need for police; I claim we have no use for the police we have. Therefore, we do need to dismantle the existing police institutions and replace them with institutions devoid of the pathologies that plague our society.
But we won't do that will we? I have no reason to believe that there is any sociological motivating factor that will result in a substantive shift in the environment within which the police institutions operate. Put frankly, most people just don't give a shit.
