Be the change you want to see. This training is for everyone! who wants to become informed activists for real healthcare change. It is also for people who are already activists who want to help recruit and train more activists. Friday night opens with Co. Supervisor John Gioia followed by the PBS Frontline Documentary on healthcare "Sick Around the World" about how other capitalist democratic countries supply excellent health care without health insurance companies for 100% of their citizens. Discussion follows.
Saturday 10-4 we will be using the training guide to "Vision and Voices" to look at the moral issues of supplying health care for all. Interactive, informative and empowering to help us be the change we want to see.
$5.00 for both Fri. & Sat.--no one turned away for lack of funds. We want everyone here! Snacks and lunch included.

This activist training runs Friday night March 6th from 7-9:30 pm!!! not 3 am! It continues on Saturday March 7th from 10 am to 3 pm.
