The CommuniTree Festival, along with the Art In Action organization, is proud to announce a new arts, ecology, and healing series dedicated to the next paradigm of awareness on planet earth. This seminal confluence of culture will directly benefit a powerful new Green Media Arts Center for Oakland youth. Where: Ashkenaz (1317 San Pablo St) When: 7:30PM-11:00PM What: Panel ("Creativity & Leadership in times of Conflict"): Zakiya Harris (Global Exchange/Grind for the Green); Favianna Rodriguez (Tumis); Abel Henry (Quantum Soul Radio); Galen Peterson (Art in Action/Turf Unity); moderated by Alli Chagi-Starr (Green for All/Art in Action); Live Music by Giving Tree, SpritWalker, Cleome, Orukusaki, FiyaWata, Knowa Knowone, and more; Live Art by Andreas One, Mama Wisdom, Aaron EzRa Ableman, Phillip Feel Eye, and Leif Wold.
