Shachaf Polakow is on a nationwide tour of Canada and the U.S., including a meeting with Noam Chomsky Feb. 17 in Cambridge, to raise funds for the legal defense of members of Anarchists Against the Wall. Most U.S. citizens do not know that at least 700 Israelis have been arrested since the Israeli attack on Gaza Dec. 27. As Anarchists Against the Wall have worked tirelessly with their Palestinian brothers and sisters to tear down the wall, which is against international law, just as the 300,000 settlers in the West Bank since the Oslo Accords are. AATW's main work has been in the West Bank and they are also in solidarity with the Palestinians in Gaza. Shachaf will address the current invasion and what can be done.
