Join FACES for our 5th Biannual National Conference to learn about pressing environmental justice issues affecting US and Philippine communities and ways to get involved.
Participants will:
* learn about FACES history, the current Chevron accountability campaign, and summer solidarity trip
* engage in dialogue to strengthen our work
* hear from Philippine grassroots partners and guest speakers
* build community with old and new faces
* gain skills and tools in capacity building workshops led by Francis Calpotura of TIGRA, spoken word poet and educator Aimee Suzara, and more!
WHEN: February 6-8, 2009 (see website for details)
COSTS: open to the public, sliding scale registration
